The 4040-PRO CNC router boasts an impressive working area of 15.7" x 15.7" x 3.1", which is more than adequate for most daily wood carving projects. The redesigned Z-axis carriage makes swapping a spindle a breeze. Additionally, the inclusion of more screw holes on the non-all-in-one Z-axis carriage allows you to install a larger spindle higher, providing extra overfeed height.

Featuring an all-new, high-rigidity frame structure, the 4040-PRO CNC router is built to deliver unparalleled stability and accuracy. Each axis is composed of two 16mm Steel HSS linear tubes and a lead screw motion drive, complemented by dual Y-axis rails and an all-metal frame. This new design ensures the milling machine's performance is rock-solid.

Maintaining its roots in the open-source Grbl v1.1 platform, the 4040-PRO CNC router has been upgraded with more powerful yet silent Toshiba TB6S109 drivers and 32-bit chips. The machine also boasts extended function ports, including an Air Assistance Pump Port and an MPG Port, further enhancing its capabilities.

Assembly is a breeze, with all the main parts pre-assembled and the entire machine taking only about 15 minutes to set up. The spoilboard is composed of two MDF boards, allowing individual replacement of damaged panels without the need to replace the entire spoilboard.

The 4040-PRO CNC machine comes equipped with 42mm and 52mm spindle mounts, and additional spindle mounts, such as the 65mm (B0BRZSY475) and 69mm (B0BRZSVVK3), are available for order. This flexibility enables you to easily upgrade the machine to suit your specific needs.

Furthermore, the 4040-PRO desktop CNC supports the addition of a 4th-axis rotary module kit. This kit allows you to carve from different angles and positions, or even achieve full 3D rotary carving with the right software.
